Dr. Ron Daniels is an NHS Consultant in Intensive Care, based in Birmingham, U.K. He is also Founder and Chief Executive of the UK Sepsis Trust and sits on the Executive Board of the Global Sepsis Alliance. Ron’s expertise lies in translational medicine and leadership. He leads the team driving dissemination of the Sepsis 6 treatment pathway and is part of the team responsible for much of the policy and media engagement around sepsis in the U.K. and elsewhere, including the adoption of the 2017 Resolution on Sepsis by the WHO.

YU-CHANG YEH

TAIWAN
Yu-Chang Yeh, MD, PhD, is a Director and Clinical Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology, National Taiwan University Hospital. He currently chairs the Critical Care Committee of the Taiwan Society of Anesthesiologists and holds leadership positions in the Taiwan Society of Emergency & Critical Care Medicine, as well as the Taiwan Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Yeh is a member of prestigious international organizations, including the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society. He also serves on the Council of the Asia Pacific Association of Critical Care Medicine. Driven by a deep passion for sepsis, critical care medicine, anesthesiology, and hemodynamic monitoring, Dr. Yeh has published more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed international journals.

MAHA ALJUAID

KSA
Maha is a critical care nurse specialist working as a director of nursing of Ambulatory Care and Hemodialysis at King Abdulaziz Medical City. She is a member of the Scientific Nursing Council, the Clinical Advisory Group for Stroke, and leads several quality improvement projects, e.g., improving sepsis education for nurses. Her research interest includes improving sepsis care and sedation practices in the ICU. She is also a member of the executive committee of the Global sepsis alliance. Maha has contributed to several publications at distinguished journals and obtained several poster awards. 

KUAN WIN SEN

SINGAPORE
Dr Kuan is a Senior Consultant and Research Director at the Emergency Medicine Department, National University Hospital, National University Health System (NUHS), Singapore. His primary research interests are sepsis, emergency critical care and respiratory diseases. He has published papers on sepsis in several peer-reviewed journals such as the Annals of Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and the NEJM Catalyst Innovations in Care Delivery. He recently obtained the National Medical Research Council Clinician Innovator Development Award and the ‘Innovation to Startup’ grant to research novel diagnostic and prognostic tests for sepsis.
